"We were impressed with the following: - The way they make their guests feel so welcome and that they make you feel as important as the others - The food was Top Class and very well thought out. Just enough, doesn't make you feel overfull and the presentation of the food on the plate was stunning! The food was always warm and so yummy! and I love that they give you 2 choices. - Sam the game ranger/driver was so amazing and such a peoples person, he made our drive memorable. -Their Spa lady. Oh-My-Goodness she is made for messages. Stunning Stunning. felt like a million bucks when she was done with me and the same with my husband. - Your BOMA is out of the world beautiful and was 1 of the best experiences."
"Our family met at Sediba Private Game Reserve for my Mom’s 80th birthday on 22 Feb 2014. We stayed there for 4 nights from 19-23 Feb. We were the only guests staying at the lodge, the smaller camp with only 5 chalets. My Mom has recently had some serious medical challenges and our family wanted to make this gathering a very special occasion and a time for us to be together and celebrate her life. We wanted this to be a relaxing, fun time for her to enjoy with her family being together in one place. We did have a wonderful stay and celebrated her birthday on the Saturday evening with dinner, followed by an audio-visual show of her life. When we woke the following morning, we realized that some of our valuables were missing: my nephew’s Macbook Air, my brother’s digital SLR camera and my sister’s bracelet and watch. Total value approx 3,000 USD. The lodge is situated in a private game reserve (Welgevonden 37 500 hectares, surrounded by 15 ft high electrified fence). The western entrance gate is situated an hour from the nearest town. Once at the gate, it’s another 35 min transfer via Game Ranger’s truck to the lodge, which is also surrounded by an electric fence. It is not easy to get to this lodge; it is isolated and there is nothing else around. The doors to the chalets are equipped with a bolt only (see photo); there is no key and no way to lock it. Since our family were the only guests at the lodge, the conclusion we came to was that the theft was committed by staff or by trespassers. Regardless of who stole our property, one does not expect this kind of experience at a premium vacation property anywhere in the world. I have since had protracted correspondence with Sediba through SA Tourism Company (the company I made the booking through), who have been very engaged and after 3 months suggested I make a claim through my insurers. The lodge management's response was indifferent, “there is nothing we can do“. They have not made any effort to compensate us for our loss or recover our confidence in the South African tourism experience. Based on our loss and experience dealing with Sediba, I cannot recommend this property."

"This place is amazing! Best game reserve I've stayed in. The rooms are gorgeous with ridiculous views. The service is out of this world, great game drives with lots to see. The food is delicious. We will be going back!"
"We had the best time at Sediba Lodge! From the rooms, facilities, the food and staff we were spoiled beyond words. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the most amazing. Thank you to B & Mauritz and the wonderful staff @ Sediba!"
"It was our 2nd time at Sediba this past weekend. I think it already explains that we went again because Sediba is truly a fantastic destination. If you look for beautiful luxurious rooms, scrumptious food and excellent service, Sediba must be on your list. We loved being away from all the technology and taking it slow. We will definitely be back... again."
"This has been our second trip to Sediba, the first being about 6 years back. I cannot imagine ever getting bored with the overall setup of this place. The rooms are by far the best of any accommodation we have ever been to. The food was fantastic and the staff are incredible. We had some great sightings on the game drives, animals I have never had the luck of seeing in the wild before. A big thanks to Lydia, Martin, Sam and all the other staff for an incredible stay once again. There is no doubt that we will return."
"As soon as we arrived we slipped into the private Jacuzzi overlooking the bush. It did not take long to settle in. The room was very well appointed and invited absolute relaxation. We have been on a lot of game drives in SA and other African countries and yet the drives from Sediba still offered something new and unique. We can honestly say our 3 day stay was wonderful, which included great accommodation great food, a visit to the spa. supported by great staff who entertained us with dance and song during the evenings. Our thanks to Bernard, Moyo, Lydia, Martin and the rest of the staff for their warmth and service"
"We had the most incredible stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful! our room was beautiful and very spacious with a stunning view of the surroundings, with a private Jacuzzi and beautiful fire place! the food was perfectly prepared and of the best quality. The dinner in the boma was a highlight of the weekend, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff singing to us over dinner was a great touch. The game ranger Josphat and his college was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We will recommend the lodge to everyone we know."
"Beautifully appointed spacious rooms all with Jacuzzi. Staff are fantastic, even sing to you over dinner! Wonderful boma area with fires all around to keep you warm. Game drive rangers are excellent ( ask for Josphat, he is the best!) saw lion, giraffe, elephants, rhino, hippo and much more. Come and try it!"
"We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. From the moment that we arrived we were spoiled with great food, a luxurious suite with private Jacuzzi and sundeck and 3 fantastic game drives. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic ranger Salomon could give us a lot of information about the animals and vegetation and prepared lovely sundowners! Lydia, Martin and the kitchen team prepared delicious meals and we even were treated on a braai in The gorgeous boma including a performance of the staff."
