This authentic camp comprising of only eight Tents which are built on wooden decks above the Gomoti River floodplains, offering guests a real "treehouse" experience. Each spacious tent features a spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom with double vanities, outdoor shower, private lounge area, mosquito netting, overhead fan, in-room safe, and a secluded veranda. Children traveling with their parents are accommodated in the Family Tent which accommodates two children comfortably in the private lounge area on two additional single beds.
The camp facilities include a dining room, bar, curio shop, swimming pool, and a campfire area.
As a large part of the area surrounding the camp is mopane woodland, game viewing is good all year round. The drier winter months, however, see a higher concentration of game move into the area. The Gomoti River is the main source of water and attracts an abundance of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, kudu, impala, tsessebe, hippo, crocodile, genet, honey badger and a host of antelope including the rare roan, sable & eland species.
Bird Watching is fantastic in this area that comprises of wetlands and woodlands. Birds spotted on the reserve include open-billed storks, hammerkops, egrets, ibis, shrikes
Day and night game drives are offered in the private concession and conducted in open vehicles with no more than six guests per vehicle. Water activities which include boat cruises and mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) excursions are offered during the flood season, as well as bush walks which afford up-close encounters with the fauna, flora and smaller wondrous creatures of the African bush.
