"To put things in perspective, I am a die-hard Cat Lover! Especially Lions and Leopards! if you are looking for big cats, up close and personal plus excellent camp hospitality, Porini Lion Camp is the right choice for you! Nestled right in middle of the Savannah , there is no boundary that sets you apart from the wilderness! I spent 4 nights out here and I must tell you, that it has been nothing but a mind-blowing experience! (I am making this statement keepng in mind that this is my 10th African visit and i must say, the best I had so far) I was fortunate to run into 7 prides totaling up-to 65 Lions in different territories of Porini."

""MARVELOUS !! Admittedly, I'm a terrible customer to advise (looking for 'the trip of my dreams' on the very last minute and being so constrained in my travel times and budget, too), but Ruben made the impossible happen. I am so very happy - and so much looking forward to this trip. THANK YOU !!!"

"The food improved a lot since my last visit and I enjoyed delicious bush breakfasts and lunches every day. The tent is spacious and comfortable, the staff is attentive and always there to help. The game viewing was awesome. It was beyond all possible expectations and dreams. Lions were pretty much at the "camp door" all the time. There were lots of lions. One pride made a buffalo kill in the middle of the day perhaps a 100 meters from the camp. The queen of Olare Motorogi female leopard Fig and her 5 month old cub were found almost on daily basis. The new stars of the reserve, 5 male cheetah coalition, created a lot of action as they hunt pretty much every day. Guides go above and beyond to deliver amazing sightings. Over 8 days we saw 10 successful kills, one super emotional hunt when 5 cheetahs were trying to bring down a full grown wildebeest bull, lots of new borns, 3 week old lion cubs, 4 different leopards (some of them multiple times), lions feeding on a fresh kill and much much more. It was absolutely unforgettable."
