The award-winning Olonana is a boutique tented safari camp on a private stretch of the Mara River in the heart of Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. Named after the Maasai people who inhabit the area, and the Mara River, which flows through this great reserve, the Masai Mara National Reserve is world renowned as the setting of Karen Blixen’s book, “Out of Africa”. The breathtaking game-filled plains are known for the awe-inspiring spectacle of the annual Great Migration. Whilst the migration is spectacular, the Masai Mara teems with wildlife throughout the year, boasting incredible sightings of the Big Five.
Olonana boasts 14 opulent Suites and Family Suites with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto a deck that boasts spectacular views of the Mara River. Other features include a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with double vanities, bathtub, and a rain shower; overhead fan, lower lounge area, minibar, daybed on the deck. Three of the suites feature an extra bedroom which is ideal for families.
