Our agent's intimate knowledge of the products they handle means that you can rest easy, knowing you are in good hands.

Accredited member of SATSA, TBSCA - SATSA Bonded

Afritrip Group trading as safari.com is an accredited member (membership number 1680) of South Africa's most well known tourism authorities, including TBCSA (Tourism Business Council of South Africa) and SATSA (Southern Africa Tourism Services Association). These memberships mean that we adhere to strict policies and regulations regarding our conduct and, should you be unhappy with any aspect of our business, you have these organisations to approach for recourse.

Financial peace of mind

safari.com banks with Standard Bank of South Africa. All credit card payments are processed using VCS as a payment gateway, which then connects to the Standard Bank of South Africa's merchant processing facilities.

We take every precaution to ensure that online credit card transactions are safe and secure. Any payment page will be accessed via SSL (secure socket layers) with 128 bit encryption. We will never store any of your credit card details - they are passed directly to our merchant gateway for processing.

Even more credit card security

safari.com was the first travel company in South Africa to implement 3-D Secure (3DS) credit card security. 3DS is an added layer of security for online credit card transactions which requests a PIN with 3DS enabled credit cards.

Most new credit cards are 3DS-enabled, and old cards can still be activated with 3DS through the cardholder's bank. Merchants such as safari.com do not have access to this security information, only the bank and their Access Control Server (ACS) have access to the data.

Black Economic Empowerment

safari.com is a verified Level 4 Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) contributor.
