4 Day Pafuri Walking Trail| safari.com

Overview

The Pafuri Walking Trail consists of a mobile camp. Using one campsite as your base, the day is spent walking through different habitats and along the tracksmade by wild animals over the years. Walk the floodplains of the Limpopo and Luvuvhu Rivers, experience wide vistas where acacia woodland and riverine forests provide shade and time to reflect. The exquisite baobab trees (so wellknown in this province) are a site to behold, as are the perennial springs and the exquisite bird and animal life found in the region.

A trained guide well-versed in the region will lead the excursion and point out places of interest, explain animal behaviour and tell you about the fascinating history of the area.

Reviews

A very rich wildlife experience. That's Pafuri Walking Trail in the northern Kruger. We enjoyed exceptional guiding and fabulous food in a wonderfully simple setting. The luxury of sand, without thorns, to walk around without shoes in camp. There was plenty of game, approachable on foot including loads of elephant and buffalo up close. And even a resident camp buffalo lying in the grass next to the breakfast table. The bird life was prolific making sure there was never a dull moment. And even an African Rock Python made an appearance. This is definitely a bucket list must for any discerning wildlife junkie.

Don

"This was an amazing trip and exceeded my expectations" All were great. Planning the trip was easy and they were responsive. The safari guides were great.

Tim E

"It was an overall fantastic experience, starting from the booking until stay and activities." I had an excellent communication with the operator to find out what really will meet my expectations. Also, the provided documents with all booking details and additional information were quite appetizing the future travel.
