Kichakani Serengeti Camp is a mobile camp that moves around the Serengeti to afford guests year-round viewing of the Great Mammal Migration. Generally, the camp will be located in the Western Serengeti from June to July, Northern Serengeti from August to November and then the Southern Serengeti from December to March each year, but this is all dependent on the movement of the animals who follow the rainfall patterns.
The small and intimate camp comprises of just ten Luxury Safari Tents, featuring ensuite bathrooms with indoor bucket showers, king-size beds, hairdryers, mosquito nets, in-room safes and a small sitting area in front of each of the tents where you can sit and admire the view and sound of the bush.
The lodge facilities include a dining area, a comfortable lounge area, a bar and magnificent views of the surrounding landscape from the comfort of sofas positioned around the camp. The camp is eco-friendly with its electricity supply produced from a silent packed generator and inverter battery system.
The dining experience at the lodge is very relaxed with a scrumptious breakfast served before your morning safari activity, followed by coffees and teas, as well as a selection of snacks served out in the bush. Lunch is taken back at the camp or alternatively, a bush picnic is arranged for full day safaris. For couples staying at the camp, romantic private dinners can be arranged upon request.
Kichakani Serengeti Camp is positioned where wildlife viewing is at its best. Teeming with wildlife, you can expect to see wildebeest, zebra, Thomson’s gazelles, and a large number of predators who are attracted to the area because of the annual migration. The Serengeti is known for having the Big Five but other rare sightings include cheetah and wild dog.
Sundowners are a highlight on any safari, as you enjoy a refreshing beverage whilst admiring Africa's wildlife and the most magnificent sunsets.
Kichakani Serengeti Camp is ideal for travelers seeking unsurpassed luxury and an opportunity to diiscover the real beauty of the Serengeti and the Great Migration.
