Kadizora Camp nestles in the northern reaches of the world-renowned Okavango Delta, centered between the Vumbura River and Selinda Spillway. Overlooking a seasonal floodplain and surrounded by huge trees, Kadizora offers unparalled game viewing and complete guest privacy.
Kadizora is accessible from both Maun and Kasane Airports, with small aircraft landing on the Kadizora Airstrip. These charter flights are a great start to ones safari, flying low enough to offer panoramic views of the Okavango and its wildlife.
The camp boasts 4 Standard Tents and 9 Luxury Tents, each spacious and furnished in a classic safari style. The tents are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, fans, heaters, in-room safes, and private viewing decks that overlook the floodplain. The Luxury Tents are bigger and have the addition of an outdoor shower.
The camp facilities include a reception area, bar, lounge, dining area, fire pit and swimming pool.
The Okavango Delta has a high concentration of wildlife, making it one of the ultimate destinations in Africa for a safari. There are nearly 200 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds to be seen in the reserve. It is also one of the best places to see wild dogs which are an endangered species.
Kadizora offers guests the opportunity to explore the bushveld on open-vehicle game drives, walking safaris, fishing (seasonal), boating safaris and mokoro excursions which are great for those narrow water channels. There is also an option to visit a traditional village for a day or book an early morning hot air balloon flight over the Delta. Kadizora is the only camp in the Okavango to offer this activity.
