"We had a great time at Chisomo safari Camp and had a excellent service with the rooms and the co-workers and the service at the guest room was also good. We liked to safari as we happen to see so many animals, giraffe, lioness, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and etc."
"Great service! Good explanation when we arrived. They make you feel very welcomed! The tents are really first class. I loved it, and I don't like camping but this is glamping! The food was great and for dinner we were sitting around a big camp fire. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Then the game drives: You always have to be lucky, we didn't see any cats but the ranger and tracker did everything to find the animals, they even walked into the bush! We enjoyed our stay!"
"No wonder everybody raves about this place. We just couldn't fault it, on our four safari trips we managed to see the Big 5 plus a host of other animals. Our guide Helen was fantastic and the two trackers, Obvious and Sondy could spot a bee at 100 meters! Our Glamping tent was great and allowed you to hear the animals at night. No complaints about the food and there was plenty of it. Free WiFi in the dining area. The staff were super friendly, as were the management. All in all a wonderful stay."
"This is a tented camp with no air con only fans, but well equipped with everything else, ie. fridge/safety deposit box etc. very comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Cannot fault them at all. The best off road game drives, the rangers make sure you see the big five if possible. The food was great, and the place is idyllic."
"The idea of staying in a tent in a game reserve is a dream that many people have. But we dont want to rough it. Chisomo is the answer! The en-suite tents are luxurious and very spacious. Off course this time of the year it gets quite cold in the tents, but it is a small price to pay. The staff at Chisomo are the biggest asset of the lodge.thank you for your awesome service and the kindness and happy smiles you do it with. One of my favourite lodges"
"As a family group of four adults we stayed at Chisomo Tented Camp in late August 2014. We all found it to be very comfortable with the 'tents' being very spacious and having most amenities except air-conditioning (not needed at our timing). The grounds are manicured lawns around the tents and the main reception and meals/bar buildings alongside a riverbed. We were able to view baboons and some antelopes whilst having a drink at the adjoining River lodge bar. The game drives were very successful in seeing most animals up close and the guides and trackers new there business. It is a fenced reserve so the animals are somewhat of a known quantity but this does improve the viewing potential compared to open reserves where the animals can come and go. I believe the only thing that lets this camp down just a little is the fairly average selection of foods at meal times. There was always plenty available but more Western fair than African influenced. One dinner in our three night stay was held outside the main building in the open air. There is no real boma at this camp. There is one at the adjoining camp. Wi-Fi was free 'as the signal was inconsistent' but we had no problem with at all."
"Our group of 21 started out our African adventure at Chisomo. It was perfect in every way. The lodging, food, game drives, staff and amazing attention to detail, like nice warm cloths presented after our safaris simply wonderful. Thank you Chisomo for a wonderful time."
"Newly refurbished tented safari camp in beautiful surroundings. By all accounts we should have seen very little in the rainy season with lush green bush - but we did, courtesy of our very enthusiastic guide Keenan and our tracker Colin. We spent four nights and five days at the camp and took in all it has to offer: night drivers, early morning drives, bush walks and friendly staff - our first morning we awoke to Impala, Nyala and warthogs outside our tent! We also took the opportunity to spend a morning in the canyon and a day at The Kruger Park - all relatively close by. Since returning we have passed on the camp details to friends and colleagues."
"Very nice tents, in the midst of Karongwe game resort. Food was brilliant and service also very good. The view from the tents is on a nice savannah where you can see Impala and Kudu graszing. The rangers were excellent and very informative. They showed us tracks of most animals and we tracked down the big 5. The game reserve is not filled with tourists, just a few vehicles are around for the game drives. On a spotting, you have maybe 1-2 vehicles coming in after 5 minutes. All in all, very enjoyable stay !"
