"We stayed in room 420, which provided opulence, space, and amazing views! This hotel is eye candy the minute you walk in the foyer. The food in Signal restaurant is delicious. The room service is delicious. Breakfast is included in the stay here. The spa provides very good massage services, and the fitness centre has modern ample equipment. The location is perfect to the V and A waterfront. All the staff are friendly and approachable. The outdoor pool is cozy and private. You will feel like royalty here."
"This is just about the best hotel that we've ever stayed at along with the best breakfasts. The staff are all first class and always welcome you back to "your home". Located within 100m of the main tourist shops and restaurants, we had a room facing Table Mountain which was excellent."
"Stayed here with my family and had the most amazing stay! The staff was absolutely fantastic and so attentive! Want to say a special thanks to Renato who got us a table at the Test Kitchen! Wonga and Quanita in the restaurant who literally knew everyone's breakfast order every day and had it prepared as we walked through the door! Truly a great hotel with impeccable staff. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with great views."
"This place is absolutely incredible. The service is beyond what we expected and since the first moment they did everything in their power to assist us with anything we wanted. From cravings of sushi in the middle of the night, to honeymoon surprises in our room every single night. The hotel is amazing and we can't wait to go back. It is by far the best option to stay in Cape Town, not only it is wonderfully located, but the staff and facilities are top class."
"The room was spectacular and so is the service. The waterfront area with restaurants and shops is in walking distance. The concierge organized Restaurants and Sightseeing tours perfectly. I enjoyed the afternoon tea. A great Hotel!"
"We spent 4 memorable nights here. The views are breathtaking! The staff are friendly, helpful and extremely welcoming. The location of the hotel is very near to he Waterfront shopping and restaurants. The rooms are well quipped and each done in their own decor. I would highly recommend this hotel."
"From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The staff and concierge services specifically are there to make your stay extra special. I can't say enough about their daily efforts to make our stay stellar. What a perfect choice for our honeymoon. Also important to note they have a killer breakfast at their in-house restaurant Siren."
"We love to travel and have been all over the world staying in everything from fine grand hotels to those with the simply the basics. Everyone enjoys a great hotel room at the end of a busy day. But, sometimes, those higher end hotels are stuffy with no life in the halls. So grand, that the miss out on comfort, service and advancements of modern travel. Well, folks, the Cape Grace has it going on! They combine all the wonderful things you love - large, beautiful rooms, comfy beds with lots of pillows, connectivity, a staff that goes above and beyond and a perfect location. It is a fine hotel, but packaged to make it feel like a wonderful welcoming lodge. Anything you need - it's done. Anything you want - they'll find. And, I want to bring up the staff again. Everyone was always smiling, happy and friendly. We loved the smile and sense of humor of Mavis, who was on turndown at nights. And, Veronica who worked in the restaurant. I love myself some ice tea and Veronica had it ready for me each morning without me asking if they could make up some tea and put ice in it. It was simply done. Walk down to the docks and enjoy all the shops or restaurants, or look north and see table mountain standing tall. We L-O-V-E-D this place!"
"I visited the Cape Grace Hotel several months ago, much to my surprise it was the best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff and associated vendors were perfect from our pick-up at the airport to return trip. To be greeted by name and welcomed back to the property was a nice touch and a hint at the attention to detail. I recommend the whisky tasting and a romantic dinner at the Signal onsite restaurant. Our room came with an awesome view of the harbor and Table Mountain"
"We were staying for three nights as a party of two adults and a six year old boy. The service started with complimentary transfer from the airport to the hotel, where the doormen already knew our youngster's name, making him feel special right from the off. Checking in over a freshly made and extremely refreshing iced tea, we learned all about the hotel, the V&A waterfront in which it is situated and how to access Cape Town safely. Our room was a superior double, overlooking the marina and Signal Hill, and was extremely comfortable, and well appointed. Genuine five star facility. We used the complimentary limo service to take us to and from Table Mountain. We ate in the wonderful Signal restaurant in the hotel, as well as eating around the pool, and in our room. At all times the food and service was wonderful. We don't have a bad word to say about this hotel, and all of its friendly, attentive, but relaxed staff. Thank you."
