Belmond Khwai River Lodge

Belmond Khwai River Lodge nestles on the edge of a leadwood forest overlooking the vast floodplains of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve in Botswana. Known for its exceptional range of big game, many animals can be seen quenching their thirst from the private decks of the guest rooms.

Belmond Khwai River Lodge is home to luxurious rooms, seated on raised wooden platforms with a traditional African thatch roof. Private decks with easy chairs and hammocks provide panoramic views. Each room is furnished with a four-poster netted bed, an elegant bathroom, a stocked mini bar and discreet air conditioning.

Tucked away from the main rooms, a private suite offers a more secluded, romantic experience. The large deck includes a heated splash pool with full views of the reserve. An open-air bathroom, complete with double showers and copper-framed Victorian bath, brings you closer to nature.

Activities on offer at the lodge include bird watching, Bush dining, Big 5 game drives, night drives, stargazing, guided walking safaris, local village visits and spa treatments. 

Game viewing vehicles sit up to a maximum of six guests, allowing every guest to enjoy a window seat and have a fantastic safari experience.

Children: Minimum age for children 6 years and older.
Children 6 – 11 years pay 50% of the adult per person sharing rate for low and shoulder seasons.
Children 6 – 11 years pay 75% of the adult per person sharing rate for high season.
