Your journey of discovery begins in the town of Victoria Falls at Mpala Jena Camp, situated on a private concession within the wildlife-rich Zambezi National Park which is home to a wide variety of mammals. The eco-friendly Mpala Jena Camp will lull you into a state of relaxation. And being just upstream from the spectacular sight of the Victoria Falls, where this natural wonder cascades over the edge of a large plateau, a world of adventure and cultural experiences is also within reach. Victoria Falls is the adventure capital of Africa and a myriad of activities will fill up your itinerary in no time while the tranquil offerings at Mpala Jena Camp will soothe your soul.
After lapping up everything Victoria Falls has to offer you will continue to the northern region of Zimbabwe where the rugged bio-diverse wilderness of Mana Pools National Park stands ready to amaze you. The intimate and exclusive Sapi Explorers Camp – situated within the private Sapi Concession, neighboring Mana Pools National Park – will be your base. Here you can indulge the romance, adventure and diverse terrain of this pristine protected wilderness area. As an UNESCO World Heritage Site and safari destination, Mana Pools and the Sapi Concession boast superb and up-close wildlife encounters. The area’s remoteness is a refugee for big mammals such as elephants, lions, hippos and buffalo, as well as other game and an abundance of birds. Given its location of being situated along the mighty Zambezi River – the fourth longest river in Africa – you can also tap into your spirit of adventure and explore the river by boat.
