In just 7 days, you will explore two regions of Botswana that are renowned for their game viewing. From tranquil rides in a mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) to phenomenal predator sightings and Africa's largest zebra migration. This tour offers authentic tented accommodation in private and untouched wilderness concessions. With only six tents at each of the camps, this tour is perfect for couples and families looking for an intimate experience.
Besides the day-time drives which offer up-close encounters with Africa’s big attractions – lion, rhino, cheetah, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo and giraffe – you will be able to explore nature after sunset on night drives, discover fascinating creatures on foot, glide on a lagoon in mokoros, visit a local village, enjoy exceptional bird watching and get to see the famous Baines baobabs up close.
Nxai Pan is particularly loved for its dark maned Kalahari lions and annual zebra migration, which generally occurs during the summer months of December to February. If you are lucky, you may even get to see some of the rarer species in the region including leopard, wild dog and brown hyena.
