6 Day Zambezi Wilderness Experience

Day 1 -2 : Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge

Accommodation: Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred by road to Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge, where you will have the afternoon to relax and enjoy the facilities of the lodge.  

The following day is spent exploring the park on an early morning game drive followed by brunch. Later that afternoon, you will enjoy high tea before departing on a river safari. 

The Zambezi National Park is home to buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, kudu, impala, sable, eland, warthog, and zebra. During a river safari, you will have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of crocodile, waterbuck, and hippo.

Day 3 - 4: Camping on the banks of the Zambezi River

Accommodation: Camping on the banks of the Zambezi River

After an early morning game drive and brunch, you will be collected from the lodge and taken on a canoeing safari of the upper Zambezi. After a game drive through the park, you will arrive at the riverside camp. Your guide will brief you on conditions of the river and rapids, canoeing instruction, safety and general information before spending the afternoon in a canoe riding the Zambezi Rapids. You will spend the evenings at a campsite located on the banks of the river. 

Day 5 - Victoria Falls

Accommodation: The Elephant Camp

After a heartwarming breakfast, you will head downstream for approximately 18 kilometers in your canoe before reaching the mighty Victoria Falls. You will encounter the Kandahar Rapids today, experiencing gorgeous scenery and channels. Once in Victoria Falls, you will be transferred by road to the Elephant Camp and have the afternoon to interact with the camp's resident elephants.  

Day 6 - Depart Elephant Camp

After breakfast and a tour of the Falls, you will transfer by road to Victoria Falls Airport where you will connect with your onward travel arrangements.
