A few days in Cape Town where you will be able to take the cableway to the top of Table Mountain and witness the amazing view over the city, the V&A Waterfront and Robben Island, a Peninsula tour to the Cape Point is also a must-see experience. Climbing into your rental car, you travel to the renowned Cape Winelands where wine tasting is one of the main attractions on some of the most well-known wine estates in the region. The Cape Whale Route is an ideal way to explore the South African coastline and Hermanus is gifted with a cliff walkway that runs along the coast making it easy to spot whales from an elevated viewpoint.
Wilderness is a stunning beach destination with white sandy beaches and somewhat warmer Indian Ocean water, there are also some magnificent trails to waterfalls and other interesting nature walks. Today you arrive at Cape Town's International Airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the slopes of Table Mountain then gather your belongings for the arrival of your rental car, then take a leisurely drive out to the Winelands, your guest house is surrounded by various well-known wine estates, the town of Stellenbosch is also quite interesting, a university town where the campus building are scattered far and wide across the town, many of the buildings reveal a mix of Cape Dutch or Georgian architecture and the streets are lined with oak trees.
Spier Estate has a bird of prey rehabilitation facility where these magnificent eagles or hawks are often flown around 11 am each day in their healing process, there is also a Segway tour that takes you through the vineyards and the guide will explain all the ecological projects that the Estate makes use of for growing vegetables, recycling their grey water

After breakfast, gather your luggage and head to Hermanus traveling alongside the Hottentots Holland mountain range then cross over the range up Sir Lowry's Pass and on to the seaside town of Hermanus. Southern Right whales travel thousands of kilometers each year from the Antarctic to calve in the shallower warm waters of Walker Bay and the surrounds, they start arriving in and around June and head back to the colder waters towards the beginning of December. A boat-based whale watching trip is an experience that should not be missed, the female Southern Right whale averages between 40 and 50 tonnes and are approximately 14 meters long, it is an amazing experience to see mother and calve swim alongside in these shallow waters in and around Walker Bay.
This region also boasts some well-known wine estates that all offer interesting wine tasting experiences e.g. Creation pairs their wines with food platters.
Sea kayaking trips are also very popular along with Hobie cat sailing and kitesurfing.

This morning you continue on your journey along the garden route as you head towards the coastal town of Wilderness.
Situated between the town of George and the Tsitsikamma Forest, Knysna is perfectly positioned to explore the top attractions of all three areas.
During the next two days, walks along the long white sandy beach and the Collared Kingfisher trail which runs along the River up to a beautiful waterfall. You have the freedom to decide where you wish to go and what you wish to experience.
